In my opinion every woman is born with the hair color that suits her the best. I don't know where the blonde hairstyles popularity came from, probably even before Marylin Monroe, but here we are trying to trick the nature.

If you certainly decided to have blonde hairstyle and nothing would stop you, don't rush to the store for dying solution. Consider following:
- blond color that looks spectacular on Paris Hilton might look disastorous on you, no offense but face features, eye color, skin tone, even the hair texture will all donate to the end result. You better see that result before it's too late - go try on some blond wigs and make sure that blonde hair wouldn't wash out you face or make your nose look bigger than it is.

Dying result will be different for the same dark brown hair but with different sets of pigments. When buying commercial hair color solution - you see little ponytail of colored hair sample, but you have no idea what color was it before dying, and there is very small chance that it was exactly your tone. Before going on coloring whole hair, cut little sample of your hair and try to dye it first.
- if you never done it before, go to the salon, consult with specialists and let them do it at least for the first time.
- be prepared to cope with stressed and damaged hair afterwards. No matter how good and expensive the solution is - it will strip away your hair moisture and break the cuticles. The split ends are almost guaranteed.
